Master Ruma is a living Master, a Shaktipat Guru with Meditation Centers and disciples throughout S.E. Asia and South Florida.
He has traveled extensively around the world spreading his message of love, liberation and enlightenment through meditation. He is also a proponent of vegetarianism and loving kindness to all sentient beings, and honors all religions and beliefs. His message is Universal and is not aligned with any particular Religion or spiritual movement.
He was born in Cambodia of Vietnamese parents, moved to Vietnam, and was raised with a traditional Buddhist foundation. He was a refugee from the Vietnam war, separated from his family, and finally rescued by the United Nations Refugee Agency. He was adopted by American parents and relocated to the United States, where he received his formal education. In his new family life he was exposed to both Christian and Jewish religious traditions and values.
He began his spiritual journey at the age of 17. After several years on the path and traveling through India, he was guided to his Master in the Himalayas and was initiated into the Sound and Light Meditation.
This is his first appearance on the West Coast.
